Equipment is available for loan within Australia at a weekly trial fee (price per week for each item is noted below). A two week free trial is available for selected products (fees apply after 2 weeks). The maximum trial period is four weeks.
We are aware that selecting the right assistive technology to suit your needs is a difficult task, and we encourage you to trial our product range before purchasing to ensure that it is suitable. We have a wide range of speech generating devices, computer access and environmental control products available for trial, as well as a range of accessories such as switches, mounts and keyguards. If you do not see the equipment you would like to trial on the list below, please contact us as it may be possible. Please note that we do not have software available for trial before purchase, however in some cases there are demonstration versions. Trial conditions
After reading the following conditions, please complete the equipment trial scheme online form:
The maximum trial period is 4 weeks.
A free 2 week trial is available for selected products (fees apply after 2 weeks).
Due to the demand for trial equipment we are unable to extend trial time to accommodate a delay in supply of equipment.
Extension of the trial may be possible, depending on the current waiting list.
If there is a problem with meeting the return date, please contact us at least one week prior to that date.
If the equipment is kept beyond the agreed date, without notifying us, then a late penalty fee may be added to your invoice.
If the equipment is not returned in a clean state, a cleaning fee may be added to your invoice.
If any equipment is damaged, lost or stolen, you are responsible for repair or replacement costs.
Where the trial item consists of, or includes computer software, you must undertake to delete or destroy any copies that have been made of the software at the end of the trial period.
Extension of the trial may be possible, depending on the current waiting list.
You will be charged freight costs of equipment sent to you as in the price list. You are responsible for freight costs involved in the return of equipment to NovitaTech.
If the equipment is purchased within six months following the trial period, then trial fees paid may be deducted from the price of an order for that product. Please note this only relates to the fees for the first 4 weeks of a trial. Freight costs cannot be deducted.
