Each of the devices in this section has a static display. You record messages in the device and place an overlay on top. Some of these devices allow you to pre-record different "levels" or "pages" of messages. For example, you may record 8 messages relating to personal care with 8 corresponding pictures to represent those messages. You may then change to a different set of pre-recorded messages and pictures relating to another topic. These devices can save the original set of messages to be used again at a later time - you do not have to delete and re-record messages. Each set of stored messages is called a "page" or a "level."

A robust speech generating device with high quality recorded speech, four messages and four levels.
Bluebird 2
A speech generating device which works like a talking multi-level communication book. To access messages flip to the page you want and press the corresponding level key on the left side of the device.

A user-friendly device that can be accessed by directly pressing keys or via scanning. The FL4SH has four large keys and may be used with multiple levels. It has a built-in overlay storage compartment.
GoTalk 20+
A lightweight, rugged recorded speech communication device. The GoTalk 20+ has 20 message keys, plus five extra buttons for "core vocabulary" messages that stay the same over all five levels so you don't need to re-record frequently used messages.

A lightweight and rugged recorded speech device with four large message buttons - includes two "core message" keys that remain constant when you change levels.
