This optical mouse incorporates a moulded hand rest with a vertical post which is designed to maintain the hand in a comfortable resting position. The Renaissance Mouse is not a joystick - the whole unit is moved on the desktop, just like a standard mouse.

Note:  This style of mouse has been available for several years under a range of names - you may know it as Dr Mouse, Anir Mouse or Renaissance Mouse.

Access

The Renaissance mouse has three buttons:

• Left and right clicks are performed using your thumb on a single rocking switch on top of the post.
• For Windows only: A third programmable button on the side of the post can be used for scrolling.  This button can be disabled if not required.  Software to program this button can be downloaded from 3M (see web address below).

Designed for right hand use only.

System

Windows 95, 98, ME, XP.  Mac OS 8.1 or later.

USB connection with PS/2 adaptor.

Colours

Black only.

Size

Small/Medium:  Base size 11 x 8 cm.  Post height: 9cm.  For palm width up to 9.5 cm.

Large - Base size:  11 x 8 cm.  Post height 10 cm.  For palm width over 9.5 cm.
