The test laboratory is unique in having National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) registration for the wide range of rehabilitation equipment covered by the new standards. In addition to rehabilitation equipment testing, there are facilities for investigation into failure analysis and some specialised furniture testing. These services are available to:
- Government departments
- funding organisations
- manufacturers and agents
- therapists.
Our terms of our NATA registration (no.2953) enable us to offer NATA endorsed reports on:
- manual & electric wheelchairs, and their battery chargers
- shower/toilet chairs & commodes
- bath seats
- vehicle mounted hoists & ramps
- ignitability of upholstered furniture
- walking aids
- patient lifting and moving aids
- motor vehicle controls for disabled drivers
- hospital beds
- lower limb prostheses.
