Test Laboratory
Information presented in the Test Laboratory pages has been divided into two sections. These sections are:
- information for professional enquiries: manufacturers, agents, therapists, funding organi
sations and others - information for personal enquiries: users, parents of users and carers.
The test laboratory began in 1989. It was created to assist the International Standards Organisation (ISO) and Standards Australia produce a range of quality and performance standards for wheelchairs and other rehabilitation equipment. These standards are now published and the Laboratory is available to carry out commercial testing and product development.
Proceeds from sales received stay within the disability sector to enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
